The best introduction to lettering for all the littles in your life! It breaks down all the basic lettering skills through lessons so fun they won’t even realize how much they are actually learning. After this class they will see letters completely differently and have a totally solid foundation that they will be able to build on for the rest of their lives. It’s taught in a way that mistakes are celebrated because that means you’re learning and not a robot and what to do if you are not happy with what you’ve created. The lessons are taught side by side a 7 and 9 year old so kids will be able to see all levels and not get stressed when theirs doesn’t look like mine. It can be done at their own pace, pausing and rewatching when needed, and yours to own forever and ever.

 This class is catered towards all grade school kids but will work with anyone who can write their letters well. Middle school and up will do really well with my main lettering class.

Class Lessons

  • Intro

    A happy pep talk and a dive into how letters are actually formed. It will change the way you look at your writing forever and for always.

  • Serifs

    Learn all about serif and sans serif fonts and lots of fun ways to add some spunk and fun to your letters.

  • Negative Space

    The BIGGEST game changer when it comes to lettering. Practice with one of my all time favorite lettering styles. Anyone can do it but the impact is SO cool.

  • Brush Lettering

    Brush lettering can be super tricky but I show you a way anyone can achieve it that also teaches how to do thicks and thins even the pros will swoon over.

  • Spacing

    Planning out your words and spacing is taught in this crazy fun lesson that will help translate into all their other letting projects.

  • Intro to Procreate

    I am all about pencil and paper and think no matter how old you are, you should always practice with one but sometimes writing on a tablet can be SO fun! I break down my favorite program so if they want to try it out, they will have everything they need.

  • Outro

    A goodbye and a summary of everything we learned together!
