This Creative Planner is something I have wanted and needed for SO LONG!! This is a planner for someone who needs to keep track of things on a project basis. There are monthly spreads in the front to do all your content planning, a place for your project planning/ brain dump on the left, then organize those thoughts into to dos with status and dates on the right. Half the planner is filled with these pages while the other half is brainstorm pages for all the extra notes, doodles, ideas you have in that brilliant head of yours. 

One of the biggest concerns I get when someone gets a new planner is they don’t want to mess it up. So I designed this cover to encourage you to get in there and get messy. It’s vegan leather and wipeable so it can handle whatever you throw its way. And with the stitched binding, it lays completely flat because nothing is worse than a glued binding where the pages stay curved no matter what you do. 

Every single pixel was thought out and organized in a way for you to get the most out of the planner. It was worked and reworked to be as simple as possible while also remaining so incredibly functional and useful.

The idea for this Mom & Dad Connection Journal came when looking for a journal to share between my kids. Everything I found was cheesy, drawn out, and not something I would stick to honestly. I wanted something that fostered REAL connection. Something that showed my kids that I was human too and that what is going on in their life matters to me. I wanted a safe place to write back and forth dialog where they could ask questions and be open with me.

So that is exactly what I created. A connection journal with 5 simple prompts that help you find gratitude, ask questions, be vulnerable, be engaged, and the space to clear your mind. I am so ridiculously STOKED on this wall calendar! Like I honestly believe it solved every pain point of every existing calendar and put it all in the most beautiful, intentional, epically rad calendar ever. 

Let's start from the top. Black and white so it won't clash with any color coordination you have going on and will look just absolutely beautiful in any room in any home. 

Key - Lets you use the calendar how you want to. Color code based on family members or personal subjects like "work, family, home.." Saves you so much space from having to rewrite names for all the activities. 

Dates - Current month is in a bold weight with past or future months in a thinner weight. Six rows of weeks which means there will be no split days ever. 

Holidays - It wouldn't be a Rad & Happy calendar without all the fun holidays mixed in with the standard ones. Just a little way to celebrate the every day and bring some happy into your week. 

Meal Plan Space - The number shifting over the margin in a calendar drives me nuts. It throws everything off and always feels awkward. So I made use of this space in a way that tickles my brain real good. I plan on using it for meal planning so no one ever has to ask the "what's for dinner" question ever again. Hah It can also be used for your goal for the day, gratitude, top priority, workout plan, etc. 

Groceries - This was purposely put at the bottom of the calendar so kids could reach it and add things to it as they run out. 

Other - A wonderful flex space to use for what you personally HAVE to have in a calendar. Or it can just be used for extra "stuff" that needs to be written down so you don't forget.

Can be hung with nails, a string, or command strips. It purposely wasn't created with rings so it would lay flat when writing on it and also makes it very easy to hang. 

The paper quality is BANANAS good. Use any pen you want and it will handle it just fine. 

It is 16x20 inches. Aka big enough for whatever you need to throw it's way while still being able to take it down and write on a table if needed.

I was in some desperate need for my kids to stop acting so shocked when I asked them to clean their room or when they’d wait till Friday morning to start their homework. Then I had a huge duh moment.. My kids need a planner!! Sunday nights I grab my planner, my husband grabs his phone, and my kids each get their own page printed out for the week. Then we plan out our week and see where we might need to make adjustments once we see everyones schedules together.

My kids always do so much better with transitions when they knows what’s being thrown their way. So things like “Mom’s workout class” penciled in on a Wednesday night will help them be prepared for Dad doing bedtime. Or they can take a look at how much homework they have and space it out so one day isn’t completely overwhelming. It’s such a great life skill to be able to plan out and prioritize your todos and I love the idea of starting with them young so they can feel like they have some control over their life.
